Feeder Skilled Trades Spotlight: Welding

May 1st marked National Skilled Trades Day, a time when we celebrate the exceptional craftsmanship and expertise of those involved in the various skilled trades. From welding to electrical work, assembly to fabrication, these professionals are the backbone of our industry.

At Hoosier Feeder, we recognize the invaluable contributions of skilled trades to our success and our appreciation for these remarkable team members is a year-round celebration.

Today, we’d like to shine a spotlight on:

Our exceptional Welding Team

Here at Hoosier Feeder, we truly have the best welding team. Welding isn't just a skill; it's an art form. It demands patience, precision, and an unwavering attention to detail.

Our welding team doesn't just weld feeder bowls; they sculpt them with expertise and care, ensuring not only functionality but reliability that our customers can depend on. Additionally, they fabricate internal tools to make their workstations and our manufacturing floor more efficient.

Hoosier Feeder Welding Team

“Welding, especially creating feeder bowls, is both satisfying and rewarding. There are no blueprints on how to create these systems" notes Mike Addison, welding lead at Hoosier Feeder. "We begin with a few strips of metal and a goal based on the customers need. We get to be creative and problem solve our way to the final product. Seeing it all come together from concept to completion never gets old.”

Today, and every day we are grateful for our welding team. Stay tuned as we continue to spotlight the craftsmanship and innovation of our skilled trades employees in our Feeder Skilled Trades blog series.
