A low incline angle paired with robust motors and gearboxes makes this conveyor able to handle much heavier loads than typical elevators while still offering consistent part flow. As long as part geometry prevents excessive rolling, the flat belt will gently move the heavy, large, sticky, etc. parts up the incline and into the feeder system. Parts that are damaged, dented, or bent in a standard elevator may fare well in a flat belt elevator, as there are no cleats to damage the parts.
