George plans to begin working with his family’s trucking company and aims to expand the business by opening a semi customization shop. George believes his welding skills, combined with the tools he was able to purchase through this award, will be essential to starting this new project.

In addition to the Hoosier Feeder award, George was also honored with the overall Outstanding Rushville Career Center Student Award.

Hoosier Feeder proudly supports Whitewater Career Center, which offers a variety of career training programs designed to prepare students for successful futures. The Welding Technology Program provides hands-on training in welding and fabrication, along with essential skills such as safety, print reading, and electrical principles.

Congratulations to George Jacobs on this well-deserved recognition and best wishes as he embarks on his career journey!
