In many cases, a parts feeder by itself will solve a problem, but it may not capture every action necessary in its part of the process.  Pairing a parts feeder with a linear feeder will not just orientate the part but provide clearance for neighboring machinery.  Adding a prefeeder to your feeding system can decrease operator input and help maintain optimal operating conditions for tooling inside the feeder.  Using a custom mechanism integrated into the feed system to singulate, stack, or place your part, can help the sub sequential processes begin with strong part control.
